Slow start in singles…so far

Alright faithful Bruin fans, we have not gotten off to the start that we wanted here at ‘SC in singles. Clay and Daniel have lost first sets as Max is down 5-2. On the other couts, Adrien is up on four and Holden battling on six–however, J.T. Sundling (his opponent) has taken an injury timeout and it’s odd this early. Looks like his knee is bothering him so we will keep an eye on that situation. And finally, Amit is  tied 4-all as I type this in the first set.

So? It’s too close to call. No doubt that we are behind early so far–the rollercoaster that Coach Martin described is in full effect early. We just hope that it goes back our way as we approach these second sets. I think, just in general on all the courts, we need to be aggressive. Our guys are more than capable of coming back and we just need to assert ourselves early in these points and ’em that this match is far from over.

Barry, fyi, the Trojan “live scoreboard” is dead – so your blog is the only information we’re getting. Go Barry!
