Bruins win, and face Florida State!

Good morning Bruins! Apologize for the lack of blog yesterday after our win versus Minnesota, and was at the courts from 8:15am to 5pm!!! Exhausted so had to recharge for another big(ger) day.

So yes, it was a good win for us; doubles rolled easily at #1 and #3 and then singles was a dogfight for a while, but eventually Amit won the first singles match playing well, 7-6 and 6-3 to put us on the board and then the momentum was felt throughout the stadium. At #1 Daniel was down 4-5, 15-40 and came up with the two biggest forehands that I’ve ever seen! Meanwhile, Holden steamrolled at #6 before DK clinched moments later for a 4-0 victory. Since it’s it a tournament, we suspend the rest of the matches once another team wins.

Anyway, a good win but short-lived; we play a very, very good Florida State Seminole team for chance to go to Indoors–this is a HUGE match for us! Truthfully, it is very important that we go to Indoors and of course, we must win this afternoon to make that happen.

No analysis on this one…as Coach said, “it’s going to be a downright dogfight out there.” We must come out focused and play well–let’s go Bruins!!

In the meantime, Bruins together getting breakfast:
